Yael Cobano was born in a small multicultural Spanish city on the north coast of Africa and is a founder of the Reform Jewish Community of Madrid. She holds University degrees in Law, Intelligence Analysis, and International Conflict Resolution. She has been trained at seminars of the Union for Reform Judaism (URJ), Reform Judaism U.K., Joint Distribution Committee (JDC), and European Council of Jewish Communities (ECJC) in different disciplines such as Jewish education, liturgy, and security. Yael is also a Peace Observer and is a Rabbinical student at Instituto Iberoamericano de Formación Rabínica Reformista (IIFRR). Her passions are knowledge, social action, food, and literature.
