There are a variety of awards and grants available for WRJ-affiliated sisterhoods that have shown effective leadership skills, created innovative programs, or engaged members through educational development.

The WRJ Incubator Grants initiative was launched in 2015 as a way to inspire and enable women to create “outside the box” programs and provide new ideas for WRJ sisterhoods. WRJ Incubator grants have been reimagined as Microgrants. These grants are created for sisterhoods and women’s groups only.

Or Ami Programming Awards

Established in 1973, WRJ’s Or Ami “Light of My People” Award for Special Achievement in Programming recognizes exemplary social justice, community service, and educational events that can serve as a model for other WRJ Districts and sisterhoods. This year marks WRJ Or Ami’s 50th anniversary!

With your support, WRJ strengthens the voices of women worldwide and empowers them to create caring communities, nurture congregations, cultivate personal and spiritual growth, and advocate for and promote progressive Jewish values. Consider making a donation today!
