Emily Bourgeois

Emily Bourgeois (they/she) joined the RAC-TX team from the Texas Legislature. Her most recent position was as the Executive Director of the bipartisan Texas House Early Childhood Caucus, working on healthcare and education issues affecting Texas children and their parents from prenatal to age five. Prior to that, she was the senior policy analyst with Representative Diego Bernal’s office. She has a deep knowledge of the Texas legislative ecosystem and brings with her relationships across the political spectrum. Emily is currently based out of Austin, TX but calls San Antonio home.
