Ally Karpel is a rising second-year rabbinical student at Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion in Los Angeles. Prior to rabbinical school she ran the WRJ-RAC Reproductive Health & Rights Campaign, where she drove strategy around the Reform Movement's reproductive rights advocacy. Prior to her work on the campaign, Ally worked as the WRJ Eisendrath Legislative Assistant, where she represented WRJ in coalition and on Capitol Hill in advocating for a range of issues, including reproductive rights, gender-based violence, economic justice, labor rights, and disability rights.
